Kelly V. Naranjo, MS
Manager of Research and Evaluation, God’s Love We Deliver (New York)

Kelly, a multidisciplinary scholar with a background in bioethics and biology, is deeply committed to health equity. She has leveraged her unique perspectives to enhance her work in clinical research and clinical trials, with a particular focus on increasing the enrollment of underrepresented minorities in population studies. In her current role, Kelly leads research and evaluation at God’s Love We Deliver, a food and nutrition nonprofit in New York City. She has established a research infrastructure to benefit a diverse client population, fostering key partnerships with academics, payers, and funders who share her commitment to health equity.
Kelly’s work underscores the significant impact of nonprofits that are closely connected to communities and have cultivated and established trust; the food medicine movement, led by the Food is Medicine Coalition; and the promotion of client-centered and participatory research frameworks. Ongoing projects include conducting research and evaluation reports for health care partnerships; performing qualitative analyses of nutrition assessments; and executing quantitative evaluations of God’s Love We Deliver’s medically tailored meal interventions for public and private stakeholders. Most recently, Kelly has been leading God’s Love We Deliver’s first American Heart Association-funded clinical trial, which has already shown promising results. Kelly received her MS in biology from New York University, MS in science in bioethics from Columbia University, and her BA in linguistics and psychology from New York University.
