Terri Wright, PhD, MPH
Health and Racial Equity Strategist, Public Health Scientist

Dr. Wright has over 35 years of experience leading or partnering with a variety of nonprofit and community-based organizations as well as philanthropy and government. Her partnerships have been concentrated in advancing racial equity across health, education, employment, housing, and community wealth and wellness through public policy and programming. Her areas of expertise include strategic organizational development and leadership for high-impact results, particularly in communities of color. Additionally, Dr. Wright has subject matter expertise in maternal, child, and adolescent health and is grounded in strategies that advance racial and health equity. She has employed her extensive leadership skills and expertise advancing the nonprofit sector, particularly entities led by people of color, to enrich communities such that they realize the change they seek while advancing racial equity.  She is a board member at the Coalition of Schools Educating Boys of Color, Maternal Mental Health Leadership Alliance, Whitefoord Family Medical Center, and the Black Women’s Health Imperative.
