Tennille S. Leak-Johnson, PhD, MS
Assistant Professor of Physiology, Morehouse School of Medicine

Dr. Leak-Johnson is a classically trained molecular geneticist and epidemiologist and a co-author of more than 20 peer-reviewed scientific journal articles. She uses this knowledge to volunteer her time to educate the community about genetic literacy. Dr. Leak-Johnson received her doctorate in molecular genetics and genomics at Wake Forest School of Medicine and completed postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Michigan. She furthered her education by earning a master of science degree in epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
